- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following:.General Cable Inboard Control Cable, Product #321180, quantity 1500 feet. It is expected to place a sole source purchase order with General Cable Corporation because they are the only known company that can provide the required cable which must meet specific submarine environmental criteria in time to meet planned fleet installations. A formal Solicitation N66604-05-Q-1532 will be posted on our website on approximately 1/24/05. A completed copy of FAR 52-212-3 Offerer?s Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. Offers should include price and delivery terms. Offers must be submitted to Commercial Acquisition Department, Bldg. 11, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Code 5912, Simonpietri Drive, Newport, RI 02841-1708 or may be faxed to 401-832-4820. Offers must be received by 2:00 p.m. on 2/2/05. For information onthis acquisition contact MS. Geraldine Shenberger. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
