- Synopsis for N00164-05-R-8919, for procurement of a system which includes a polarization positioner capable of providing positioning control of existing equipment (a Scientific Atlanta 53150 series AzEl Positioner, 58700 Model Positioner and the new polarization positioner), a position controller, Far-Field Measurement Software and a Measurement Workstation. The system shall provide instrumentation control of an HP8530 Antenna analyzer, which includes an HP8510 network analyzer mode. System will be procured to a performance specification. Quantity and Description for this procurement is as follows: Line Item 0001, Antenna Measurement System Upgrade, Qty 1 lot, includes the following: 1 Each Polarization Positioner: Minimum requirements shall include: - Controlled rotation speeds between 0 and 7.5 RPM - Minimum axial load of 1000 lbs - Minimum radial load of 150 lbs - Position accuracy of 0.05 degrees - Position repeatability of .005 degrees - Weight less than 50 lbs - DC-26.5 GHz rotary joint 1 Each Position Controller: Minimum requirements shall include: - Control a minimum of 4 axes - Software Driver - All System Control cabling - Installation and Checkout 1 Each Far-Field Measurement Software: Minimum requirements include: - Data Collection and processing software to be bundled into one package - Data collection of multiple axes, frequencies and switches in a single measurement - Collection of arbitrary frequency, beam, and switch combinations - Position control using a single controller - Adjustment and control of measurement smear - Gain calibration and pattern measurement modes - Ability to export plot or measurement data to an ASCII file for analysis - Ability to import ASCII data files for plot overlays - Standard analysis and plot routines (Cartesian, polar, and contour) including identification of beampeak, beamwidth, sidelobe level, etc - Drag and drop plots 1 Each Measurement Workstation Minimum requirements include: - Pentium based workstation, 3.0 GHz - Microsoft Office XP Professional - XP Professional O.S. - 19? color monitor, flat panel LCD - 16MB video card - 160GB HDD, Raid Type 1 (mirror drive) - 3.5? FDD - 512 MB - 48X CD.DVD RW (+/-RW) - Enhanced Keyboard, 3 button mouse - System Configuration and checkout - 1 year warranty Line Item 0002, Installation & Training, Qty 1 lot Minimum requirements include: - Installation of items procured - One day training for a minimum of 10 attendees at Quantico, VA For award of this contract, vendor must have a facility security clearance and personnel must have security clearances for installation and training purposes. The contract for this commercial procurement will be a firm fixed price contract for current FY requirements. Solicitation N00164-05-R-8919 will be issued on full and open competition basis.
