Description

The work consists of maintenance dredging of the Channel to Tangier Sound to a depth of 9 feet MLLW, the Channel to Chesapeake Bay to a depth of 8 feet MLLW, and the Basin to a depth of 8 feet MLLW, each with one foot of allowable overdepth. The work , including allowable overdepth and estimated accretion to 1 April 2005, involves dredging approximately 51,500 cubic yards of material to be transported and deposited in the Government-furnished shoreline placement site by hydraulic pipeline. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. Applicable NAICS code is 237990, with a size standard of $17.2 million. The solicitation will be available on the Internet only.
