Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), International Trade Administration (ITA), Office of Textile and Apparel (OTEXTA) will be sponsoring two Industry Day Events. These events will allow industry and Government to exchange information and ideas on the ITA?s upcoming acquisition for the design, construction, installation, dismantling and storage of modular exhibit systems at U.S. Trade Shows in Europe. The Government will host one domestic event in the United States and one international event in Europe. These pre-solicitation conferences will provide information on the procurement process and requirements and information on trade show locations and organizers. The Government will host a question and answer session at the end of each conference where participants can share ideas and information on their company and its products as well as review and discuss past and future pavilion designs. The Domestic Industry Day event will be held on February 9, 2005 at The Ronald Regan International Trade Center Trade Information Center Washington D.C. 20230. The International Industry Day will be held on February 25, 2005 at the American Center, 46 avenue des Arts, on the third floor, 1000 Brussels, at the corner of rue Belliard, Brussels, Belgium. Attending both events is not necessary. Questions and answers from both events will be provided to all registered participants. The Government intends to issue a competitive solicitation as a result of these conferences. Interested parties must pre-register by email by submitting their company name, address and the number of attendants to: pamela_kirkland@ita.doc.gov or email:kim-bang_nguyen@ita.doc.gov. The deadline to register for the domestic event is February 8, 2005. The deadline for the international event is February 22, 2005.
