Description

Supply/service/maintenance support for systems and freestanding furniture for DLA Headquarter, Fort Belvoir, VA. Requirements include but are not limited to storage and brokerage of excess inventory, repair/refurbishment of existing furniture, reconfiguration of offices, dismantling and removal of furniture, design of new layouts, purchase of new furniture of same manufacture as existing to ensure compatibility/interchangeability, installation of new, refurbished or reused furniture, disposal of scrap material, maintenance of a web page showing all open and completed orders, status of incomplete orders, and detailed inventory records of stored material. Designer shall possess professional certification through American Society of Interior Design or International Interior Design and have a minimum of five years experience with layout and specifications of Steelcase Avenir and Benchmark products, and knowledge of Arnold and David Edward product lines. Contractor must have an adequate storage facility of not less than 5,000 square feet located within 75 miles of Fort Belvoir, VA. Anticipate issuance of solicitation by January 31, 2005.
