Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to prepare and apply a fluid-applied ceramic insulating coating system to the exterior of Building 53 at U. S. Coast Guard Support Center Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Contractor shall be responsible for application of a fluid applied ceramic insulating coating system, such as the ASTEC 900 System or equivalent, to the entire exterior wall surfaces of the building. This includes small additions attached to the building. Some of the salient characteristics of this coating system are as follows. Ceramic filled 100% Acrylic; Solar Reflectance of at least 86%. Emissivity of at least 90%; Water ?based and environmentally safe; Class A Fire Rated; Waterproof membrane shall have Tensile strength of minimum 792 PSI; Product must have minimum 10 year manufacturer?s product warranty. This procurement is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS 238320. Completion time is 60 DANTP. This project is set aside for small businesses.
