Description

The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Naval Engineering Division, intends to solicit for a contractor to provide tools, labor and material to clean, inspect 2 fuel tanks, 1 dirty oil tank, 1 sewage tank, and 1grey water tank ?IAW? additional specs that will be provided upon request. Contractor to provide a marine chemist to certify tanks as a safe for personnel and hot work. Job will require removal of remaining fuel/gray water/sewage water. Performance period is 14-MAR-05 to 08-APR-05. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Attention: Minority Women Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, The Department of Transportation (DOT), office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
