- U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition process for the purchase of Narda Safety Test Solutions (Narda-STS) RF Personal Monitors and accessories to include: 21 Each, Nardalert XT Narda-STS item 8860 9 Each, Interface Kit Narda-STS item 8865 21 Each, Climbers Harness case, Narda-STS item 21847700 A fixed price purchase order with oral solicitation is anticipated and a written solicitation will not be issued. Price only based award is anticipated by 2/18/2005. Narda Safety Test Solutions is the intended source; under FAR 6.302-1(2)(ii) authority and substitution of ?or equal? items will not be acceptable. This is a notice of proposed contract action and not a request for competitive proposals. However, prospective vendors able to provide the required items may contact the Point of Contact. Numbered note 22 applies.
