- Pre-Invitation Notice for Interior Restoration at the U.S. Courthouse, 401 North Market St., Wichita, KS. Job PCN RKS24640. Estimated Cost Range: $250,000 - $500,000. IFB date: on or about 01-27-05. Bid Opening date: on or about 02-28-05. Time for Completion: 150 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. No document charge or deposit required. The project consists of 1) re-grouting and cleaning existing marble, 2) cleaning, polishing and refinishing bronze, 3) interior architectural woodwork, 4) stripping and refinishing wood doors and frames, 5) door hardware, 6) painting restoration (walls, ceilings, stairs, balustrades, rails), and 7) pendent light replacement. Options: No. 1 - Bronze cleaning and polishing of the drinking fountain faucets in six locations. Option No. 2 - Repaint all existing light fixtures with an industrial paint coating (heat resistant). All work to be completed during non-duty hours. This procurement is a total small business hubzone set-aside. Only offers submitted by firms that meet the Small Business Size Standards set forth by the Small Business Administration will be considered. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this project is: 711510 and the size standard is $6 million. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website (fedteds.gov). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOps and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. At a minimum all vendors must supply the following information: Your Company Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) (You can get this from your company CCR Point of Contact), Your Company DUNS Number or CAGE Code (Contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 if you do not have a D&B Number), Your Telephone Number, and Your Email Address. Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedTeDS. No federal material can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedTeDS via the following address: www.fedteds.gov. You will then be required to access the vendor registration form by selecting the hyperlink entitled REGISTER WITH FEDTEDS and then choosing the VENDOR REGISTRATION FORM hyperlink. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOps for any changes and/or conditions. Please see numbered note No. 27. The proposed contract is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered.
