- NOTE # 25: Information submitted should be pertinent and specific in the technical area under consideration, on each of the following qualifications: (1) Experience: An outline of previous projects, specific work previously performed or being performed and any in-house research and development effort; (2) Personnel: Name, professional qualifications and specific experience of scientist, engineers and technical personnel who may be assigned as a principal investigator and/or project officer; (3) Facilities: Availability and description of special facilities required to perform in the technical areas under consideration. A statement regarding industry security clearance. Any other specific and pertinent information as pertains to this particular area of procurement that would enhance our consideration and evaluation of the information submitted. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY to determine the availability of industry sources to provide logistics support services and products for planning, development, management, operation and maintenance support, training, and ASP (Application Service Provider) hosting for several Navy sites, other DOD sites and the National Institutes of Health. Logistics Support Services should include: System assessment and consultation using visual inspection and the use of many Predictive Maintenance Sciences (PdM), (i.e. Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasonics, Motor Analysis, etc.) and report writing; Asset of property visual management; configuration management; data analysis, process development and implementation; data entry and reporting into Web-based management system; ASP services for Web-based data management system; System performance analysis and baselining; System modernization and consultation; System Maintenance; Logistics Strategic Planning Services; Logistics Business Process Re-engineering; Logistics Decision Support solutions, and Logistics Performance Measures and Metrics. Products should include: Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) support; MRO Process Management; Training and Certification of systems and Sciences (i.e. certification of Thermographer Level I & II), training courses for Conditioned Based Maintenance (Ultrasonics, Steam Traps, Vibration, etc.); Process Instruction and Program Development. NSLC uses the following Predictive Maintenance Analysis Equipment: DLI Engineering Equipment and Software for Vibration Analysis; UE systems Equipment for Ultrasonics Inspections; Flir Equipment and Software for Thermographic Inspections; and PdMA MCE-Emax and software for Motor testing and Analysis. ASP Hosting services will be designed to meet DOD information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) specifications, which will support Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption as well as all Federal Technological interoperability standards. All vendors that have products and services that may fulfill part or all of the above requirements are encouraged to submit specifications and descriptions. Companies should electronically submit all technical literature with specifications and descriptions showing the ability of the product to meet the listed requirements by 01/30/2005. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The announcement does not constitute a commitment, implied, or otherwise that a procurement action will be issued nor will the government pay for any information or action forwarded in response to this announcement.
