Description
Market Survey TACOM invites your response to the below market survey questionnaire concerning procurement of the M200A1, 2.5 Ton, 2 Wheel, Trailer Chassis, with generator integration. This market survey questionnaire solicits information from potential suppliers regarding their capability to meet our technical, cost, and schedule requirements. Intent: TACOM, on behalf of the Army plans to acquire the M200A1 Trailers, with generator integration by means of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. System Description: The M200A1 is a lunette trailer designed to transport up to a 5000 pound payload over tactical terrains. The trailer has a military electrical system, and uses LED composite tail lights. The trailer braking system has air-over hydra ulic service brakes and manual parking brakes. The vehicles will be painted with CARC paint. The M200A1 chassis shall be modified to include a platform, fenders and other hardware necessary to accommodate a generator set that will be mounted at a later d ate under a separately awarded contract. The generator integration kit has a Technical Data Package (TDP) as does the trailer chassis. Schedule: The contract award for the initial quantity of trailers is scheduled for February 2006. The Army would require deliveries to begin 90/120 days after contact award, and the monthly quantity is expected to be approximately 20 per month. It is a nticipated that all trailer shipments will be to Tobyhanna Army Depot. The First Article Test(s) (FAT) will be based on inspection/test criteria in MIL-DTL- 45150K. TDPs for the trailer and the Integration Kit are available on a CD upon request. Response to this market survey questionnaire should be sent via email to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Gregory M.
