- The U.S. Department of State intends to conduct a competitive procurement for a contractor to provide a single point of contact for Department of State (DoS), Information Technology (IT) help desk services worldwide, and provide round-the-clock support to ensure technology resources are available for maximum utilization as a foreign policy support tool. Contractor services are required to provide Department of State employees with world-wide information (24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including weekends and holidays) and assistance in the implementation, operation, administration, and maintenance of office automation, data processing, database management, network and communications systems. Tasks may include, but will not be limited to all current and future requirements of the Department of State related to customer support services; Tier-1 and Tier-2, help service desk support, with the capability to provide Tier-3 level support as well as other related help desk IT functions that can and will support global networks using existing and future service level agreements (SLA) or operating level agreements (OLA) between IRM offices and other department bureaus to include functional bureaus, domestic and overseas. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for small business. North American Industry Classification System Code is 541519, with annual receipts of $21M. Award of a Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract, with a base year and four, one-year option periods is anticipated.
