- PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: A preproposal conference will be held on 14 January 2005. The conference will be held at the 954th US Army Transportation Company, Terminal Operations, Building 1063, Cape Canaveral. The conference will begin at 10:30 a.m. EST. We anticipate the conference to end no later than 4:00 p.m. Seating will be limited to no more than three participants per company. Companies/Agencies must register with SDDC at least two days prior to the conference date. Contractor s shall provide the attendees name, phone number, e-mail addresses, company name, social security numbers and advise if these individuals are U.S. citizens. Attendees must process in through the checkppoint in order to enter Cape Canaveral. This shall be provided no later than 12 Jan 2005 to Ernie Bevis at ebevis@sddc.army.mil or by fax (321) 853-5363. Email subject line shall state attendance at preproposal conference. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend this conference. Attendees are encour aged to download, print a copy of the final solicitation from the HQ, SDDC website, and bring a copy with them to the conference. The solicitation is posted at the following web site http://www.sddc.army.mil. Hotels in the immediate are, Coca Beach Oceanside Inn, 321-784-3126, Ocean Suites, 321-723-4222, Best Western Ocean Inn, 321-784-2550, Doubletree Oceanfront Hotel, 321-788-222 or Holiday Inn Express, 321-868-2525. The government will not be responsible fo r making or confirming reservation. The responsibility for a hotel reservation is solely that of the contractor.
