- NAICS Code: 541710 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has a requirement to have a contractor provide an evaluation of various artifact correction methods that can be used in quantitative measurement organic carbon (OC). Improved understanding of the validity of artifact correction methods OC measurement techniques will allow EPA, State and Local air pollution control agencies to more accurately identify and quantify the contribution of OC to PM2.5, amount of OC due to urban excess, regional-scale secondary air pollution PM concentrations at Speciation Trends Network (STN) and Interagency Monitoring of Protected Visual Environments (IMPROVE) network sites. The award of a fixed price contract will be for 9 months. NAICS Code 541710 applies with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is expected to be issued approximately fifteen days after the date of this notice is posted. Quotes will be due approximately 15 calendar days after issuance of the RFQ. This quote will be awarded as a result of Full and Open Competition. The RFQ and amendments will be available via the Internet http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. It will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. Telephone and fax request will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a RFQ which shall be considered by the Agency.
