- NAICS Code: 926110 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Air and Radiation(OAR)Climate Protection Partnership Division(CPPD) Energy Star Residential Branch (ESRB) intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order using Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Affordable Comfort, Inc. of Waynesburg, PA. ESRB's goal is to promote a whole-house retrofit program called Home Performance with Energy STAR. This program emphasizes home diagnostics and evaluation, improvements made by a trained technician, and a strong quality assurance program.The ESRB is working to build an infrastructure of contractors through conferences who can deliver whole-house energy saving solutions. Affordable Comfort, Inc. shall provide support for conference sessions to be held in reference to whole-house building performance and improving residental energy efficiency through home performance contracting. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 926110. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 7 calendar days (5.203b) of the date of this annoucement will be considered. Responses to this must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
