Description

NAIC CODE: 212321-CONSTRUCTION -SAND AND GRAVEL SIC CODE: 1422 CONSTRUCTION SAND & GRAVEL, 1611 - HWY/STREET CONSTRUCTION PSC CODE: 5610 - MINERAL CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The National Park Service, Zion National Park intends to acquire all labor, supplies, and materials necessary to supply and apply bituminous material for roadway surface chip seal. The approximate area is 5.5 miles of main road with turnouts and parking areas, a 0.7 mile maintenance (administrative) road, and a housing area. This solicitation is issued pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns, regardless of size. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. A single award will be made. The construction estimate is between $25,000 - $100,000. Contractors must register in the CCR (Contractor Central Registration) www.ccr.gov in order to submit and offer. The date the solicitation package will be available will be approximately January 27, 2005. The solicitation will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To be included in the bidder's list, each prospective bidder should request a solication package in writing on company letterhead, which should have your company name, address, telephone number and a point of contact. Fax your requests to (435) 772-3337, attention: Malinda A. Flatray, Contracting Officer for Zion National Park. FAX REQUESTS FOR BID PACKAGE ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 27, 2005. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation.
