PRON: AX5C0189AX, NSN: 4810-01-319-5093, PN: 114PS49 4, QTY: Min: 35 ea, Max: 175 ea, 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, applicable to the CH-47, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This IS NOT a Critical Safety Item. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company , Cage Code: 77272; Whittaker Controls, Inc., Cage Code: 79318; and ITT Fluid Technology Corp, Cage Code: 73760. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique d esign capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge is essential to maintaining the qu ality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering act ivity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article IS NOT required. Production Lead-time Without First Article Testing is 35 each, 285 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encoura ged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Avi ation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition.
