- This notification is for informational purposes only. The government intends to award a single-source requirement to the National Restaurant Association for Servsafe Essentials, a food safety training curriculum. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 (a) (2) (b) (1). Description is as follows: food safety training one (1) lot, Front Line course taught once monthly for up to 35 students, Supervisor course taught bi-annually for up to 50 students, including all books and training materials. The anticipated award date is 14 Jan 2005. The period of performance is 01 Feb 2005 ? 31 Jan 2006 base year, with four (4) option years.
