- Description
- The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is informing interested parties of FRA?s intent to extend the period of performance and add scope to a cost plus no fee sole source contract (DTRFR53-02-C-00075) awarded to the National Academy of Science on March 19, 2002. The contract is for ongoing peer review of the safety-related R&D high-speed rail development, and demonstration programs. The additional tasks are within the scope of work of the current contract. The FRA intends to extend the contract for an additional two years and add an additional $250,000 to the contract ceiling for a total of $750,000. The new period of performance for the contract will be June 1, 2002 through June 1, 2007.
