Description
AMENDMENT NO. 0002 IS ISSUED TO ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: 1. Question: What does ARO stand for? Answwer: After Receipt of Order. 2. Question: If delivery is totally by truck, is there any special packaging required? Answer: Reference Clause 11 of Specification D-26, delivery of equipment to Baghdad in good condition is the responsiblity of the equipment supplier and the equipment supplier is expected to adopt the best packaging practices to transport the equipment. 3. Question: The Specification D-26 refers to transformers up to 1000kVA. there is no indication for the size limit (length, width, height). Answer: The Specifications restrict the 11/0.4kV transformer sizes for transformers ranging from 100kVA to 1000 kVA. The design phiosophy with regard to dimensions of the bigger transforers should not be different than used for the small transformers. 4. Question: As according to the spcification all factory test shall be witnessed by DCMA Quality Assurance personnel and as the cost of all testing shall be born by manufacturer. Please let us know the cost of DCMA Quality Assurance personnel connected with tests in factory so we can include in our proposal. Answer: DCMA pesonnel will be at no cost to the contractor. The contractor shall bear all costs associated with the testing of the transformers. 5. Question: Documents to be submitted by successful vendor - we presume that "24 sets" refer to each type of transformer. Answer: That is correct. The successful vendor shall be responsible for submitting 24 sets of documentation each for various transformer types. 6. Question: Let us know where to find the terms of payment that apply to this transaction. Answer: The terms of payment are outlined in FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration. Vendors are reminded they must acknowledge receipt of this amendment. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-OCT-2004).
