- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Panama City FL intends to purchase a 3D laser radar camera from Advanced Scientific Concepts (ASC), 2020 Alameda Padre Serra, Suite 123, Santa Barbara, CA 93103, on a Sole Source basis. This 3D camera will be based upon an ASC proprietary read-out integrated circuit (ROIC) which will provide 32 X 32 pixeel square imagery spatially, along with approximately 40 range (temporal) bins, resulting in 32 X 32 X 40 pixel 3D images. The temporal resolution will be approximately 1 nsec per range bin. The camera will operate in the visible spectrum and will be delivered with computer interfacing electronics and software. This purchase will be made on a Sole Source basis because it is required that it be maximally compatible with an ASC 3D camera being developed under another existing Government contract. It is anticipated that this purchase will be contingent upon successful delivery of and satisfactory performance of, the similar 3D camera being developed under this contract, availability of funds, and ASC’s commitment to deliver the 3D camera to us in a timely manner. Delivery would be to the Naval Support Activity – Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 334413 applies.
