- DESC: This is a bulk fuel requirement for JP5, JP8, and F76 in the Atlantic, Europe, and Mediterranean (AEM) region and JP8 and MUM in Northeast Greenland (NEG). These requirements may increase during the delivery period and be met by supplemental solicitations tied to SP0600-05-R-0033. Overseas Bulk Procurement for AEM of Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP5), NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, specification MIL-DTL-5624U, dated January 5, 2004, quantity 44,740,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1d; Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 524,670,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1i; and Fuel, Naval Distillate (F76), NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, specification MIL-PRF-16884K, dated November 14, 2002, quantity 51,850,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1b. Delivery period for the above items under Purchase Programs 1.1d, 1.1i, and 1.1b is from July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006, plus a 30-day carryover period. Overseas Bulk Procurement for NEG of Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 8,820,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1j; and Gasoline, Auto, Midgrade, 89 Octa (MUM), NSN: 9130-01-272-0983, specification ASTM D 4814, quantity 100,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1j. Delivery period for the above items under Purchase Programs 1.1j is from July 1, 2005 through August 31, 2005, plus a 30-day carryover period. This solicitation will be available only on the world wide web http://www.desc.dla.mil on or about December 30, 2004. Please be advised that a hard copy of solicitation will not be available.
