Description

This acquisition is to raise the ordering ceiling of contract # DAAB07-03-D-H904 by 1,000 Gyroscopes, consisting of a mix of three different types. The NSNs are 6615-01-256-9474, 5895-01-213-9127, and 6615-01-215-9126. These Gyroscopes are for the AH-64 Apache and the UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopters. The proposed effort will also extend the existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract by 2 years from January 30, 2005 to January 27, 2007. This will be a sole source acquisition IAW FAR 6.302-1 (a) (1) and 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) with BAE Systems Inertial Products Inc, because the government does not possess the technical data (drawings or specifications) completely defining the form, fit, function, and test requirements of the units being procured. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be released on or about January 20, 2005.
