- Description
- The Redstone Technical Test Center requires a High Power Radio Frequency (RF) Test Chamber System in order to perform Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing, which is to be located at Redstone Arsenal, AL building 8971 with inside dimensi ons of 53x 73. This system would include, design, develop, construct, deliver, install and set-up of: 1) a shielded anechoic chamber that is capable of handling the high field levels, 2) a reverberation chamber and automated control system chamber tha t is used for very high field level susceptibility testing, and 3) a shielded control room to house sensitive instrumentation and measurement equipment. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 using the following factors in order of importance: Technical capability, Price, and Past Performance. Technical is more important than Price. Price is somewhat more important than Past Perfor mance. Technical and Past Performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other facto rs considered.
