- Requirements type contract for ice, crushed and block, to be delivered to Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 1 March 2005 through 28 February 2006, with one option period. Estimated annual quantities are: 16,700 bags crushed (24-40 lb bag), 23,5 00 block (10-15 lb), and 25 blocks (300 lb unscored). This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business and all responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Contractor must currently appear in the Directory of Sanitarily Approved F ood Establishements for Armed Forces Procurement. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox homepage website at: http://www.knox.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or about 14 January 2005 with bids due on or about 4 February 2005. Please note these dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this w ebsite. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Faxed or electronic bids will not be accepted.
