- This acquisition is to provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, lubricants and supervision to provide full preventive maintenance, adjustment, replacement, repair and service calls for the complete vertical transportation system located at v arious locations on Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.The elevators were manufactured by various companies and are a combination of passenger and service elevators. The manufactures of the specific equipment will be identified in the solicitation. A single firm -fixed-price contract is contemplated for the period of performance 1 April 2005 through 31 March 2006 with two (2) one-year option periods. This procurement will be performance based and will be solicited and awarded using commercial item simplified acqui sition procedures.For information purposes, the Federal Supply Class is J036, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 with a size standard of $6.0 million. This is a negotiated procurement and it is open to all business c oncerns.Solicitation No. W911S7-05-R-0002 is tentatively scheduled to be issued on or about February 7, 2005 with a projected receipt of proposals date of March 9, 2005. Service Contract Act FAR Clause 52.222-41 is applicable. The solicitation will be post ed to http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and amendments (if any) from the website. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amen dments (if any). All responsive and responsible offers will be considered. Paper solicitations will not be issued.Faxed or electronically transmitted offers will not be accepted.
