- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order notice to purchase a software development kit. The sole source award is to Instrumentation Marketing Corporation, 820 South Mariposa Street, Burbank CA, 91506. Statutory authority for this sole source action it Title 10 U.S.C. 2304C(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This solicitation is for information purposes only. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, any proposals received by 19 January 2005 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The announcement number is F33SCW43570100. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 518210. Please identify business size in your response upon this standard. The requirement is as follows: Furnish CLIN 1, (1 each) Software Modification - TrackEye Software Development Kit (SDK) to be modified to provide the following enhancements:- Functionality to access data on the output ports of TrackEye session nodes which are farther downstream in the TrackEye data flow, such as a node receiving data via an Ethernet socket from the Eglin software, Test Data Optimal Processor (TDOP)- Functionality to display track data in the TrackEye tracking window- Functionality to use prediction data received from TDOP via an Ethernet socket, to pre-position the TrackEye 2D tracking gate- Functionality for accessing the TrackEye sensor archive using calibration and correction functions in order to store and retrieve calibration data- Functionality to define new calibration types and the "physical types" describing the interpretation of this data in the TrackEye system. CLIN 2, (1 each) Integration and Testing - Integration and testing of the SDK software modifications will take place on-site at Eglin AFB with task monitoring by customer technical representatives. (Software Integration Engineer = 1) (Days = 5). CLIN 3, (1 each) Travel - Travel costs for Software Integration Engineer from Vendor (Instrumentation Marketing Corporation) and return.
