- Description
- Luke AFB, AZ has 368 evaporative coolers requiring service. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and tools necessary to remove and replace cooler pads on all 276 Aspen pad coolers. Note: the 92 Celdek type coolers will receive the same service as the Aspen type, except pads will not be replaced; only identified as needing replacement. Contractor shall deliver "turn key" operation of coolers to include a full pan of water with unit ready for operation. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and tools to provide the following sercices: remove scale buildup from cooler panels (inside and out), pans, thoroghly clean out spray nozzles and water distribution lines throughout cooler; replace all aspen pads; replace all belts; grease and or lubricate with oil all applicable bearings and; replace and adjust all float valve assemblies; replace all pumps and ensure basket strainers are in place; conduct operational inspection of all coolers being serviced. Motors and bearings needing replacement shall be identified thoroughly by exact specification and quantities on an Excel spreadsheet or similar. This shall be provided on a daily basis. A list of all locations of subject coolers will be provided. This is a preliminary notice only. We are not requesting quotes at this time. The full Statment of Work will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to this website on or about 7 January 2005.
