- THIS IS A COMPETITIVE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. The National Hansen's Disease Programs requires a contractor to provide museum management and operation services for the NHDP museum located at Carville, LA. The contractor shall provide personnel to manage and operate the museum including mission and planning, governance, administration, finance, collections stewardship, interpretation and presentation, marketing, public relations, membership, and community support. The anticipated period of performance is March 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005, with three one-year options. This notice is not a request for proposals. The solicitation document (RFP) will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov on or before December 18, 2004 and can be downloaded by looking under the main menu for HHS/office-Health Resources and Services Administration/locations-HRSA/BPHC/National Hansen's Disease Programs. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be approximately thirty (30) days after issuance/posting of the RFP. It shall be the offeror's responsibility to monitor the website for the RFP and any amendments to the RFP. The agency will consider proposals from all responsible sources.
