Description

The Natural Resources Conservation Service Office (NRCS) in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking potential offerors to provide a one-week training course for approximately 160-170 employees in the areas of (1) Retirement; 2 days covering CSRS and FERS eligibility, benefits, longterm care, legal aspects, financial planning, esate planning, and working after retirement, survivor benefits, annuity computations and factors, crditable civilian/military service, and tax computations (2) Career Planning; 1 day covering organizational skills, setting goals, applying for positions resume writing, writing KSAs, and the importance of the Individual Development Plan (3) Customer Service; 1 day covering service to the field offices, and communication skills (4) Management Training; 1 day covering leadership and mentoring, team building, effective communication, managing and resolving conflict, problem solving and decision making, resolving disputes, counseling, managing diversity, and managing change. The training is to take place in Salt Lake City, or within fifty miles of Salt Lake City from (approximately) last week of Feb and first days of March, 2005, during normal local business hours Monday through Friday. Solicitation for Proposal and Statement of Work will be sent to all interested parties that respond within the response date listed.
