Description

In addition to the solicitation being a five-year IDIQ requirement, it will also be a Best Value (details to be furnished in the solicitation). The guaranteed minimum quantity is changed to 8,160 each instead of the 9,191 each previously identified. The estimated issue date is 10 Feb 2005. 1005-01-118-2640, Part Number 9346412, The item to procure is the complete M9, 9MM, Semi-automatic pistol manufactured to a Government Technical Data Package. FOB is Origin. The Technical Data Package will be a vailable on our web site once the solicitation is issued. The estimated date for proposal response is 10 Mar 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendor s wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amend ments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
