- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with the Executive Information Systems (EIS) for the license maintenance of the SAS software. SAS is the sole manufacturer and publisher of SAS software in the United States. License renewal will satisfy 260 users for a twelve month period. Any offeror who believes they can comply with the SAS software license must submit a written narrative demonstrating the ability to meet the SAS requirements within 15 days of this notice to Janet.M.Hannah@noaa.gov. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement for competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within its discretion. Affirmative responses must be received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. The Government intends to acquire these services utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. See Note 22.
