Description: Concerns having the ability to furnish equipment maintenance service for the Dept of Interior, Office of the Special Trustee, shall provide written notice including point of contact and telephone number to the acquisition office listed above within three (3) calendar days from the date of this synopsis. This information will be evaluated and used to detrermine if competitive opportunities exist. This notice represents the Government's only official notice of this procurement. Further, the Government believes that no other contractor has the ability to enter into a maintance/ repair agreement for these specific Security X-ray Scanners (model numbers DV400AP and DV100100), because of the propriatary nature of the units. The Govenment intends to award a sole source maintaince agreement to Control Screening of Fairfield, New Jersey. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to their business status, including identification as to whether small, large, minority-owned, women-owned, or 8a certified. NACIS is 81121. A firm is considered small if its size standard does not exceed $6.0 million
