- Electricity and ancillary services, for ultimate delivery to Department of Defense and Federal Civilian installations in the state of Illinois (MISO territory) - 163,976 MWh. No award will be made to an offeror who at the time of award is not on the state approved list of retail electricity providers in the state which award is to be made. Delivery period is 12 months, from meter read April 2005 through meter read April 2006 (for Scott AFB, 88th Army Reserves, and BOP), and from meter read August 2005 through meter read August 2006 (for Army Corps of Engineers only). Individual line item quantities will be estimated in the schedule contained in the solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is available. This announcement and the document, which can be accessed at the URL defined below, constitute the only solicitation. The solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) and has incorporated provisions and clauses as in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. Additional requirements may be added by amendment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The RFP is available through the DESC-A electricity web site, http://www.desc.dla.mil/DCM/DCMSolic.asp?SolicID=821.
