Description

Port Orford Boat Hoist Dredging. Requirements contract for dredging and placement of material for Port Orford boat hoist area, Port Orford, Curry County, Oregon. Use of the boat hoist, dock, or breakwater as part of the dredging system requires the written permission of the port of Port Orford (equipment operation is not allowed from the dock). Operations involving in-water approach ramp construction shall not be permitted. Contractor will commence work from date of award and shall end on September 3 0, 2005, with two one-year options to extend. Dredging will be performed as needed during the first time frame in order to maintain usable depths for access to the commercial boat hoist. If mobilized at any time during this time frame, the Contractor wil l demobilize on approximately April 30th. Delivery orders will normally not be issued between April 1st and October 31st. Tentative bid opening will be on or about February 24, 2005 or 30 days after actual issue date. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns, the size standard for which is a concern, including all affiliates, having average annual sales or receip ts for the past three years not in excess of $17,000,000.00.
