Description
SECTION C. DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATION/WORK STATEMENT C.1 STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW). C.1.1 The contractor shall furnish cell phones to perform standard cell phone services NATIONWIDE. C.1.2 The contractor shall perform services in accordance with (IAW) all contract terms, reference documents, conditions, specific contract requirements, contract clauses, exhibits and other attachments/appendices. C.1.3 The contractor shall provide Nationwide cell phone services for 300 LARs deployed across the US, cell phone service is required to maintain communication with these LARs and the need to be able to reach them in a real-time manner is critical to missi on support. C.1.4 The contractor proposal or bid will include 300 phones, 400 minutes per month/unit (300x400=120,000 minutes) nationwide cellular phone service with caller ID, call waiting, voice mail, long distance, Nationwide Direct Connect (walkie-talkie feature) or similar, ROAMING, desktop charger, auto charger, laptop adapter, carrying case or belt clip, and hands free headset to be included in price. All program minutes will be pooled for use by all the phones. Each phone shall be issued to employees with a n umber at his or her current geographical location. A list of locations is provided in the solicitation. The contractor shall coordinate the programming of the phones with the Readiness Directorate personnel. Invoices shall be send to: U. S. Army Aviati on and Missile Command, Sparkman Center, Building 5303, Lee Weaver, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-OS-B, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898 C.1.4 In order to comply with the Presidents requirement to support the War on Terrorism, and to comply with the operational requirement of Operation Enduring Freedom, the Readiness Directorate requires 300 phones to be included in the contractor bid and price with the features in C.1.4. C.1.4.1 The principal period of performance for the services specified herein shall be from 1 Mar through 28 Feb of each year. C.2 DEFINITIONS AND ACRONYMS. LAR  Logistics Assistance Representative Contracting Officer (KO) - A person with the authority to enter into, administer, and/or terminate contracts and make related determinations and findings. The term includes certain authorized representatives of the Contracting Officer acting within the l imits of their authority as delegated by the Contracting Officer. Contracting Officers Representative (COR) - Individual designated in writing by the Contracting Officer to perform specified contract administrative functions within the limits of their authority. C.3 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY (GFP). C.3.1 The Government will provide no GFP for this contract. C.4 CONTRACTOR FURNISHED PROPERTY. C.4.1 The contractor shall provide and include 300 phones with the features in C.1.4. C.5 Phone Transfers C.5.1 When transferring phones to any other branch maintained by the contractor the following procedure shall be followed: 1. The contractor shall be responsible for paying invoices for transfer phones as approved by the COR. 2. The contractor shall authorize the transfer and pay the invoices accordingly. 3. The Government shall only pay invoices to the contractor as written in the contract. 4. The Government shall receive only one monthly invoice from the contractor and no other invoices will be accepted. C.6 Period of the Contract C.6.1 This contract shall be for the base year and 2 option years if the Government elects to exercise the options.
