- This will be a firm fixed price type contract for Engineering Support Services for sustainment activities for the APY 1/2 Radar System both on-site at Robins AFB and in-plant at the contractor facilities. Engineering services will consist of responses to non recurring tasks including inquiries relating to basic design information, flight test data, original qualification concepts, performance data, reliability data, operational effectiveness, operational and maintenance procedures, logistics support and any other potential problem area where contractor engineering original design experience and/or engineering data, both proprietary and non-proprietary but unavailable to the Government, are required. The contractor will also provide technical support for various radar system Technical Interchange Meetings. The contractor shall provide support to assist the Government in resolving complex radar commodity issues, both hardware and software and provide five hundred (500) hours of in-plant sustaining engineering services for the E-3 radar system at the Contractor?s facility. Other requirements include Sustainment Configuration Validation, Avionics Tech Data Support, and Radar Modification Support. The anticipated contract period of performance will be for 12 months.
