Description
The U. S. This is one of several procurements intended to assemble an inventory of currently available, terrestrial-based, Project 25 compatible radios for the purpose of common air interface interoperability testing. The following optional TIA-102 compliant features will be purchased for each radio provided they are currently available: Project 25 Trunking operation (which supports the 9600 bps control channel), DES encryption, AES encryption, and Over the Air Rekeying (OTAR). Radio models in each of the following bands are required: VHF, UHF, and 800 MHz. The VHF, UHF, and 800 MHz radios must at the minimum support operation in the 162-174 MHz, 406-420, and 806-870 MHz frequency bands, respectively. At this time 700 MHz band operation is not required. ***This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (NTE $100,000).
