- This RFQ is for the purchase of the following: Item 0001: 59,563 yards of tape, textile, plain weave, flat, nylon, 200 lb. breaking strength, 0.12oz. per linear yard, 3/8 inch width, .015 inch min to .025 inch max thickness, natural, type III, NSN: 8315-00-176-8084. Item 0002: 927 yards of tape, textile, type III, ? inch width, natural; NSN: 8315-00-253-6264. Item 0003: 48,582 yards of tape, textile, plain weave, flat, nylon, 525 lb breaking strength, 0.3 oz per linear yard, 1 inch width, .015 inch min to .025 inch max thickness, sage green AF 1531, type; NSN: 8315-00753-6144. Previous award history: Item 0001 was last purchased in March of 2002 for 30,429 yards; Item 0002 was last purchased in March 2002 for 1,124 yards; and Item 0003: was last purchased in January 2003 for 136,000 yards. Specification number for this purchase is MIL-T-5038. There will be four (4) deliveries made to Albany, GA., commencing 150 days after date of award (or sooner). RFQ will be a small business set-side unrestricted. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after 15th of JANUARY 2005. From the Gateway home page, select ?Search RFQs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. Amendments to this solicitation WILL NOT be available via the Gateway. In order to receive notification of amendments to this solicitation you must E-MAIL the Contract Specialist, listed below under Point of Contact, with the name and address of prospective offeror, phone and fax number and a point of contact. Please reference solicitation number in all e-mail correspondence. An unsuccessful offer may result if prospective offeror FAILS to e-mail the Contract Specialist of their intent to offer on this solicitation. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The NSN notification will contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
