Description
Northern Region Contracting Center-Leavenworth is seeking sources capable of providing consultation services to complete the implementation of PSE Pro (by Progress Software) for Advanced Warfighting Simulation (AWARS) full checkpoint/modify/restart c apability, analyze load requirements, identify scalability issues, continue training AWARS programmers in use of PSE Pro; provide technical consultation, training, expertise to continue support of the in-house development of a checkpoint/modify/restart cap ability for AWARS using an implementation of PSE Pro; recommend future improvements for implementation of the full checkpoint/modify/restart capability for AWARS. The following optional tasks may be required: provide PSE Pro support for Build 1 of Omni F usion 05 and for scenario development of Omni Fusion 05; develop and provide a recommendation document for performance issues based on the implementation of Dumpleton Software Consulting's OSE components used in AWARS regarding the lack of memory pooling w hen using PSE Pro for checkpoint/modify/restart; assist in development of a methodology for a partial checkpoint/modify/restart capability for AWARS, provide support for Build II of Omni Fusion 05 and for federation testing for Omni Fusion 05, and continue support for the full checkpoint/moddify/restart capability; provide support for the Omni Fusion Integrating Event 05 (IE05) exercise which may involve support for scenario development and testing purposes and may involve being on site for a portion of the exercise. All responses will be considered and MUST include proof of ability to develop/modify PSE Pro software. If contractor has GSA schedule contract, provide contract number, labor categories, and rates for this service. Responses shall include com pany name, address, POC, phone number, fax number, email address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number and CAGE Code.
