- Presolicitation Notice is hereby amended to read as follows: This is a presolicitation notice to announce the upcoming solicitation by the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bliss Texas, for the recompetition of the Rental/Lease Copier Support and Mai ntenance Services contract at Fort Bliss Texas. This solicitation will be for a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a one year base plus 4 option years seeking a Flat Rate Fixed Cost. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333315, Photographic and Photocopyin g Equipment Manufacturing. The contractor shall furnish copy machines and maintenance services to fit the needs of this installation as will be outlined in the Statement of Work provided in the RFP. The estimated value of this contract is between $500,00 0.00 and $1,000,000.00 not including option years. This solicitation will be unrestricted and all offerors classified as large businesses shall submit a subcontracting plan for utilization of small business concerns. The solicitation will be issued as a Draft Solicitation to entertain comments and suggestions. Potential offerors are advised to submit their written questions or concerns to this office, to the attention of Tina Guillot at tina.a.guillot@us.army.mil before midnight 12 JAN 2004. Telephonic submissions will not be honored. The approved solicitation will not be released until all comments from industry have been reviewed and considered. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be awarded through evaluation criteria, with price having no rating yet an overall evaluation for best value. Evaluation criteria will be included in the release of the RFP. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bliss Texas, plans to release the approved solicitation to the public on or around 14 J anuary 2005 after giving careful review and consideration to comments and/or suggestions provided by industry. The solicitation (W911SG-05-R-0005) will be available through the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi or t hrough the Directorate of Contracting at Fort Bliss Texas.
