- Solicitation Number is revised to read: N00189-05-T-0107. To allow for set-up, period of performance is revised to read: 11 February 05 - 18 Feb 05. ****************************************************************** The Government intends to procure the following items under a Firm Fixed Price contract for Audio Visual (AV) Equipment/Information Technology (IT) Equipment Rental and Support for the 44th Navy Occupational Health and Preventive Medicine Workshop at The Cavalier, Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn Sun Spree, Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel, and Ramada Plaza Resort Oceanfront Hotel. All facilities are located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Performance Period for the resulting Contract will be from February 12, 2005 through February 18, 2005. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 22 December 2004 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a small business set-aside; the size standard is $6.0 million. The applicable NAICS Code is 532490. All responsible sources must submit pricing and past performance data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. All offerors shall include any charges that will be incurred from the host hotel in their offers (i.e.) sound system, Internet connections, and electrical usage fees. In addition, note that travel and lodging is the responsibility of the offerors and shall not be included in the offer; the Government is not responsible for travel/lodging. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
