Description
Project consists of construct of a multi-story 69,276 SF facility to support ground training operations and a multi-story 24,703 SF facility to support the training flying operations for the C-5 Flight Training Unit (FTU). The facilities will includ e reinforced concrete footings, foundation, and floor slab, structural steel framing and concrete framing, fascias and trim sympathetic to adjacent context. All site work and utilities will be included. This solicitation also contains an option item. Thi s item is a Cargo Load Trainer Bay. 20% of the work is to be self-performed. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated for best value to the Government in accordance with the f ollowing criteria listed in descending order of importance: Contractor Experience; Contractor Past Performance; Schedule; Key Personnel; Key Subcontractor Information; and Subcontracting Information. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when c ombined, are equal to cost or price. The price range is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. This project is available on compact disk only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe A crobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Window s 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
