- Description
- The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621, with a size standard of $12 Million. The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to providing all labor, equipment, supplies, testing, reports, materials, and supervision necessary for the removal of existing fire alarm devices, conductors and appurtenances and providing an intelligent analog, addressable fire alarm system throughout the Courthouse and Post Office Buildings. Project will be constructed under a general construction contract. Project consists of a replacement of the existing fire alarm and signaling system. Project Location: 100/200 East Wall Street, Midland, Texas. The Work shall be conducted in two phases: The first phase shall consist of installing new initiation, notification appliances, control panel(s), transponders, battery supplies, and associated interconnecting wiring required to for a complete and functioning fire alarm system. The second phase shall consist of removing existing fire alarm conduit, wiring, notification appliances, initiating devices, and related fire alarm equipment. Work of this project shall be substantially complete and ready for operation within 150 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost range is 100,000.00 - $200,000.00. The Government will make award to the responsive, responsible offeror who represents the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOps website on the Internet at www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor’s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. The actual release date of the solicitation is anticipated on or about November 30, 2004. The subject drawings for this solicitation include Sensitive But Unclassified building information (SBU). For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requestor must complete and sign the Document Security Notice (this notice will be posted with the solicitation on or about 11/30/04). All of the following information must be submitted and provided by the requestor via the spaces provided in the Notice: 1. Copy of business license (or other documentation granted by the state or local jurisdiction to conduct business). 2. Company’s Dun and Bradstreet Number; and 3. Valid Tax Identification Number. The Notice shall be submitted to the point of contact herein either by mail or facsimiles. No e-mail copies will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and a copy of the drawings will be sent to the address the requester has provided. Please read the notice carefully as it contains additional requirements and information regarding SBU building information.
