Work Summary: The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment and tools necessary to maintain approximately 1,400 MFH units and 447 Dormitory units at Beale AFB, CA in a manner that will ensure the units are properly maintained in accordance with commercial standards. Housing maintenance includes managing a service call system, performing recurring maintenance inspection and repairs, performing timely changes of occupancy, performing major and minor maintenance of units, cleaning MFH units, performing grounds maintenance, performing entomology services, and other management and special repair/improvement services as required. As an interim measure while awaiting MFH Privatization, Beale AFB may require MFH Maintenance services starting 1 April 2005 for approximately 2-12 months. The Basic Performance Period is anticipated to be 2-4 months in duration. The Government anticipates Option Periods that could increase the performance period to a total of 12 months, dependent upon the actual Privatization date. There is no guarantee that any or all Option Periods would be exercised. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This Sources Sought synopsis is not a request for proposals; it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of interested contractors prior to issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP).
