Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISC,PS)has a requirement for Fire Watch Services in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF). The period of performance will be from April 01, 2005 through March 31, 2006 with two (2) option periods. Competition for this procurement is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns only in accordance with SBA acceptance letter 7700-05-500921 dated December 7, 2004. There are no geographical restrictions. All firms submitting a proposal MUST include a letter of 8)a) certification. A labor hour indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract with stepladder pricing is contemplated. The NAICS code for this project is 561612. The small business size standard is not more than $10.5 million. Contractors must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) in order to receive an award. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about January 14, 2005 with proposals due no later than February 11, 2005. When issued, the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web site at www.neco.navy.mil. All firms wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this site (WinZip) of equivalent is required), and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone, email or fax requests for the RFP package or amendments will be accepted. The Government is not responsible for any inability of offerors to access the posted documents. FISC, PS will not maintain a bidder's mailing list. No paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by FISC, PS. Electronic submission of offers is not available at this time.
