This information will also be available on the Omaha District website at http://ebs-nwo.wes.army.mil Requirements: Relocatable buildings are needed to support the Army's mission at Fort Carson, Colorado. Temporary facility requirements consist of approximately 1 Brigade Headquarters, 6 Battalion Headquarters, 18 Company Operations Facilities, 2 Troop Me dical Centers, 7 Unit Classrooms, 21 Unit and General Supply Storage, 21 Arms Rooms, and 5 Motor Pools with Maintenance Administration Facilities, and 14 Maintenance Sprung Structures (total floor space of the modular buildings will be approximately 300,00 0 square feet). No modular barracks facilities are required for this mission. Each facility consists of modular, relocatable buildings configured to meet the provided designs or square footage requirements. Site utility work will be required to provide complete and usable facilities. Utility work includes communications, electrica l service, water, gas, and sewer. Other site work includes gravel parking and pavements, sidewalks, and storm drainage. The expected life of the facilities is 6-10 years. Requirements include a construction start of June 01, 2005 (or sooner) and construction complete by September 30, 2005. Please provide answers to the following questions. 1. Does your firm have bonding capabilities? If so, what are the limits? 2. Is your firm a manufacturer of modular buildings? If so, what are your manufacturing capabilities and limitations? Does your firm also provide site preparation work? 3. Describe your firms experience with modular facilities. Provide locations, square footage details, quality assurance information, cost per square foot, etc. 4. What is your firms primary discipline of work (design, construction, construction management, modular buildings, site work, etc.)? 5. Does your firm have in-house design capabilities? 6. Given the short suspense for getting these buildings built and in place by 30 September 2005, do you foresee any problems in providing the estimated quantities listed above? 7. Is there an adequate labor pool in the Colorado Springs, CO, area to perform this work? 8. Will transportation of the buildings from the factory to Fort Carson be an issue? Explain. 9. Is your firm currently registered with the Small Business Administration in a particular program, i.e., Small Disadvantaged Business, Native American, HUBZone, 8A, etc.
