- Description
- The contractor shall furnish men's and women's firewear trousers, t-shirts, bravo shirts, brigade shirts, polo shirts for firefighters and provide individual sizing on-site at the Letterkenny Army Depot Fire Department, Chambersburg, PA. The propose d clothing must match the existing clothing manufactured by Lion Apparel. The contractor must be able to embroider maltese crosses or IAFF maltese cross and embroider names on shirts and sew on Government provided patches on shirts. The annual estimated q uantities for trousers, 147 each; short sleeve t-shirts, 144 each; polo shirts 125 each; bravo shirts, 55 each; brigade shirt, 9 each; and long sleeve t-shirts, 100 each. The protective clothing shall meet the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 15 00, Standard on Fire Dept Occupational Safety and Health and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1975, Standard on Station/Work Uniforms for Firefighters. This requirement will have individual delivery orders written against the basic contract and will have a delivery schedule as follows: Within seven days of the start of the delivery order the contractor must provide individual sizing on all firefighters and within sixty days the items must be delivered. This is a requirements type contract with a base year and four option years. The anticipated award date will be 14 January 2004. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal for consideration.
