- Defense Contracting Command-Washington intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the lease of 16 ea, 25 seat capacity buses to include 2 VIP and 1 handicap accessible to support the Motor transport Directorate, United States Army Service Center for the Armed Forces, Pentagon, Washington, DC. Leasing shall include all maintenance, minor and major repairs. Vehicles must have valid registration and inspection stickers with the District of Columbia, Department of Motor Vehicles. Vehicles must mee t all state and local laws for operation on public hwys. The contract period of performance is 1 Jan 2005 thru 31 Dec 2005 with 2 option years. The solicitation will be issued upon request on or before 15 Dec 2004. All interested parties shall submit a request via e-mail to buchapa@hqda.army.mil. No fax or telephone request will be honored.
