- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform all operations necessary in connection with Project FBNV 040301, entitled "Repair Base Roofs" on Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. The subsequent award will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a basic period of performance beginning on or about 13 December 2004 through 12 December 2005. The Government will then have the option of exercising an extension for one additional year, all of which will be included in the evaluation for award. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the roofing repair and/or replacement of all Government facilities and residential units within base housing. The estimated project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation is un-restricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 238160. This Request for Proposal will be issued in a commercial format using Past Performance Trade Off evaluation procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. This solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 18 November 2004 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov , with a proposal receipt date on or about 15 December 2004. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents. It is anticipated the following viewers will be required to view the complete solicitation: Mircrosoft Word (.doc), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf), WinZip (.zip or.exe), and Audocad. For more information concerning these viewers, refer to the EPS website. NOTE: All prospective contractor's must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.bpn.gov and follow the instructions. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit will be held 24 November 2004 at 1:00 PM local time in the 355th Contracting office conference room.
